Gravatt Contracting & Design is a custom woodwork and cabinetry studio specializing in furniture-style built-ins and thoughtfully crafted interiors.
Our work is rooted in traditional craftsmanship, architectural proportion, and an appreciation for details that age gracefully over time. Many projects draw inspiration from classic architectural traditions, including Greene & Greene influenced design, where joinery, material selection and restraint matter as much as function.
From libraries and studies to kitchens and integrated storage, each piece is designed, built and installed with care-balancing beauty, utility and longevity.
Gravatt Contracting & Design LLC is owned and operated by Carl Gravatt, whose work is grounded in a lifetime of hands-on carpentry and design experience. Beginning in carpentry at a young age and spending over two decades within an architectural firm, Carl brings together practical construction knowledge with a deep understanding of proportion, detail and how homes are meant to be lived in.
Our work is guided by proportion, material honesty and careful execution. By limiting the number of projects we take on, we remain closely involved from initial design through final installation-ensuring each piece is built with intention, precision, and longevity in mind.
